Introduction
Hey guys, I’m Jim! Jim Settle, to be exact, or precise. Anyway, regarding the meat and potatoes of this article, I am the mastermind behind Lorelai AI. Lorelai AI is an artistic AI company that uses a variety of tools to produce high-quality content. Although not new, this will be a new rollout focusing on Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
What Has Your Journey as a Content Creator Been Until Until This Point?
I remember the first days of starting about three years ago on TikTok, back when there was no rhyme or reason to how I posted. Believe it or not, there were days when I looked back, and my content performed better. The content was entirely inspired by my own creativity. My brain is always running; this was an excellent opportunity to unload some of that, and it still is.
The one thing that became hard to deal with along the way is how hit-and-miss your videos can be. Because I have found that I really don’t want to chain myself to a specific niche, it makes it even harder. You find yourself making political content one day, and the next, you want to make a gaming video and realize how conflicting this may be to your audience. Trying out platforms can be interesting as well. You can find one platform giving you 600k views and another platform banning it for community guidelines(Fucken TikTok). I haven’t completely reached the sweet spot, but I am getting closer and believe I’m on the right track.
Why Have You Chosen to Be a Full-Time Content Creator?
With all the struggles, failures, abuses, community guidelines issues, etc., I really love the process. The creativity that I get to employ and release to the world. When you work corporate jobs and spent most of your professional career as a stockbroker, you realize that these professions kill creativity and individuality regardless of the money. When the companies are orchestrating ways to regulate your piss breaks, it’s time to tell them to fuck off. I finished my career at a college that prided itself on equality and diversity while discriminating against white males. The same university was putting black “students” into unneeded debt by enrolling them in online degree programs when they didn’t have a computer. That was my final fuckity fuck you to corporate America.
What this decision means for me is that I may not have the finances I used to again. I hope someday I may. I modestly live off my income and make a few extra bucks from content. But the most incredible thing I have is I don’t have to answer to anyone. I would rather have less money and more freedom, but I work every day, so someday I can have both.
What Topics Have You Chosen to Create Content On in the Past?
I have done a bunch of different things. I started as Joey Troll, which was meant to be a satire of the fitness influencer Joey Swoll. I was then the MisoGenius, where I did Satire roast comedy of women, which I did on and off over the years. I was then Dating With Jim and did accurate dating advice. I finally landed on Lorelai AI, the tool kit I use to make everything. A lot of these personas still come out in Lorelai AI.
The struggle is finding a balance between what there is a demand for versus what you, as a content creator, enjoy making content for. Dating With Jim was the most demanding, but older single women are horrifically abusive, and the money was OK but not enough to deal with that. MisoGenius was fun, and women were less abusive when I was making fun of them. Community guidelines were the dealbreaker, but to be fair, who else would be unreasonable and lopsided like the cocksuckers at TikTok. It’s amazing how they are whining about free speech and are about to be banned 🙂 With all these hurdles, I landed on Lorelai AI, which I have done for the past year, from Anime to Political Art and more.
How Did Your Experience with AI Shape Lorelai AI?
I tried stable diffusion and fell in love with it. When many people hear AI Art, they think of laziness, stealing others’ artwork, or making your baby’s photo sing. What I do is different. I started training my own stable diffusion models and got really good at them; genuine subjects, and I have many realistic models for political figures. I have built many of my own tools and have even used Python scripts for some cool projects.
Lorelai AI is a working toolkit where I learn a new skill or technology and add it to a toolbox where I can make content. My content mainly consists of short videos, but I plan to expand this to more images and writing. Funny enough, in writing this, I had decided my articles would not heavily rely on AI because there is no way to share who I am with a robot(yet!).
What Is the Vision for Lorelai AI?
Long-Term Goals for Lorelai AI
I try to avoid making long-term goals because the content market is constantly changing, and it’s essential to stay current.
What Sets Lorelai AI Apart
From an audience perspective, my song-writing. I have been including my song-writing in my content more because of the demand for it.
How Has Your Background Influenced Your Work?
My degrees are in technology, but the most significant influence is the fact that corporate America can suck my dick, and I am not going back. I am driven to make this work, and I enjoy it.
What Can Your Audience Expect from Lorelai AI?
The biggest thing will be to find your favorite platform. Twitter will be for brief content, or if you want to watch me trolling a bit(I really enjoy that!). Instagram will be for short videos and some images, and YouTube will have just about everything. I plan for some gaming streams and possibly more, so view my stream locations at https://lorelai.ai/streaming.
Expect content to have election humor or songs until the election is over. I plan to move it to more entertainment, gaming, and maybe some anime. My choice of content combines my and my audience’s interests, so it’s a growing thing. I really want to do more gaming stuff, the industry really interests me. But we will see where things go!
Conclusion
We have Star Wars, Concord, and a bunch of other girl boss things happening and the MisoGenius is coming out to make fun of these things so don’t miss out! I appreciate your interest in my work and look forward to connecting. I expect my new stuff to really ramp up next week. See you soon!
